Absolutely. I worked in veterinary hospitals for almost 10 years and am well-versed in ways to make a dog feel more comfortable. My own dog is also painfully camera shy so I'm very familiar with the needs of "sensitive" dogs. I know a few tricks and will allow plenty of time for your pup to get comfortable before I start shooting. The session may take a little longer, but the end results are always worth it.
Absolutely. I'll get shots of the dogs both as individuals and as a "pack".
Dogs aren't robots and even the best dog in the world can have a bad day. If things just aren't clicking the day of the shoot, no problem. We'll call it quits and reschedule. I'm in this business because I love photographing dogs and work hard to make each and every shoot a success - so if you're not absolutely thrilled by your dog's photos, let me know. I want all my clients (both 2 and 4 legged) to be happy and satisfied.

San Francisco weather can be more unpredictable than a dog. But you might be surprised by what makes for really good photo weather. Overcast days actually provide the best lighting. If things look iffy the day of our shoot, we'll check in beforehand to confirm (or curse the weather gods and reschedule).

Your dog's private gallery will be full of awwwww-inspiring photos within 10 days.

You can search The Daily Frolic by your dog's name or browse through the Archive.

Either it just hasn't been her turn, or I just didn't get a gallery-worthy shot. In a private session, I spend a lot of time with you & your dog and am able to get a wide variety of great shots. Plenty of things that can ruin a perfectly good photo op! Roving, on-the-fly shoots only last a few minutes so there are no guarantees. Consider booking a private Frolic Session. I will email you a link when your dog appears, so please be patient.

Maybe. For the sake of my hard drive, I usually keep just one or two pictures of each dog - but there may be others. Send me an email and I'll check my files (PLEASE include your dog's name). If my private stash comes up empty, think about booking a private session. Your dog gets my lasting and undivided attention during individual shoots so you'll have many great shots to choose from.

Nope. Frolic isn't a one-size-fits-all experience so prints and products are purchased separately/a la carte. Desk display prints start at $40 and I do offer special pricing on groupings and collections. The average Frolic client typically invests $600 - $1000 in prints and products.

Prints are available in a wide variety of sizes - from desk display to giant-sized. Custom print sizes are available, along with gorgeous gallery-wrapped canvases and coffee table-quality photobooks. All of Frolic's products are premium-quality, and produced by the best professional labs.

Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, it doesn't matter. Your dog doesn't have to sit still for me to take his picture - in fact, I'd rather he didn't! Trying to coax a dog into an "unnatural" state won't get you a good photograph. Trust me on this.

I photograph a lot of dogs for The Daily Frolic, so there may be others ahead of yours. I do go in "order" and it wouldn't be fair to those who've waited for their turn. Please be patient. If you requested an email notification, I *will* email you a link when your dog appears. If you really, really don't want to wait, maybe consider booking a private Frolic Session?
